BIO

Natália Cavalcante, b.1988, is a Brazilian painter based in Los Angeles. From an early age, she remembers being drawn to things for their colors. A matter that drives her work is subjects that she has not truly experienced, providing sources for imagination to play its role. Natalia has been exploring drawing and painting with acrylic, oil, and oil pastel, on surfaces such as paper and canvas. From small to medium scales, her themes merge between figurative and abstract.
